How to Measure for Your Skyline Series
Use a regular tape measure to find your finished floor-to-ceiling height before ordering your Kvsche system.
No special tools required. Just measure from the floor surface to the ceiling surface where the system will be installed.

What You Need
A regular tape measure is enough for most spaces.
Phone or notepad
Write the exact height down.
Helper, if available
One person can hold the tape at the floor while the other reads the ceiling height.
Photos, optional
Photos help us understand the space, but they are not required to measure.

This is the main measurement we need for your Kvsche Skyline Series order.

Finished floor
Place the end of your tape measure flat on the finished floor. Extend the tape straight up until it touches the finished ceiling. Record the exact floor-to-ceiling height.

Start at the finished floor
Place the tape measure on the actual floor surface, not on baseboard, trim, or a raised edge.

Measure straight up
Keep the tape as vertical as possible. Measure at the exact spot where the Kvsche system will be installed.

Stop at the finished ceiling
Read the measurement where the tape meets the ceiling surface.

Write down the exact number
Do not round the measurement up or down. Exact measurements help us prepare the system correctly.
No helper needed
Measuring by Yourself?
If the tape bends or is hard to hold straight, measure in two parts. Mark a point on the wall, measure from the floor to that mark, then measure from the mark to the ceiling. Add both numbers together.

Floors and ceilings are not always perfectly level. Measure the left and right side of the area where the system will be installed.
If the numbers are different, send us both measurements.
Small differences are common. Exact measurements help us guide the next step.
